Norwood, MA, April 3, 2006 - - Crane Streamware, a Crane Co. company, has launched a Consulting Services Group to help vend operators improve their operation with new processes, methodologies, and business models. The Consulting Services Group’s offerings will cover a broad range of knowledge areas, with a focus on improving profitability through best practices implementation, improved route, office, and warehouse efficiencies, cash and product controls, and enhanced merchandising.

Rich Horrigan, Streamware’s Director, Customer Relations, said the Consulting Services Group was a natural outgrowth of the company’s long-term experience with vending operations. “Over the years, customers have regularly suggested we expand our services to help them make the most out of their Streamware investment,” said Horrigan. “Now, after 10 years of installation, service, and support experience across the full spectrum of vending companies, we are ‘bottling’ our knowledge and know-how to help users improve their operations.”

Under the leadership of Peg Barcelo, Streamware’s consulting group will help operators use VendMAX/DeliveryMAX to its full advantage. “Some customers may just need a refresher course in the basics to help them get back on track to achieving bottom-line results; others are eager to dig in to areas they’ve never used before, like dynamic scheduling or pre-kitting,” said Barcelo. “Our Consulting team has seen it all and done it all in the last decade and we’re looking forward to imparting that knowledge to vend & OCS operators.”
