Software Implementation Technician

Crane Streamware is seeking talented and adaptable personnel for an exciting new challenge. As a Software Implementation Technician you will be responsible for implementing tests of our software at prospective customers throughout the United States.

Skills
  • Understanding of Microsoft Windows, Office, and, preferably, a basic knowledge of networking.
  • Knowledge of Palm a plus
  • Good interpersonal skills and a professional attitude
  • Be a quick learner and be capable of overcoming and managing obstacles
  • Solid project management skills - meet deadlines, prioritize well, write clear and concise reports
Requirements
  • Availability to travel 75-100%
  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent
  • 1-5 years Service experience in the Vending Industry desired
Compensation

$40K salary with quarterly bonus of up to $1500. All travel expenses are reimbursed by the company. Skilled personnel will also have the opportunity to advance within a Fortune 500 company.


Senior Field Consultant

The Senior Field Consultant is one of Streamware’s most critical technical services positions. You will provide training on all Streamware products, both formal in-classroom training and onsite at our clients’ locations, and also offer technical support and business consulting services. Field Consultants help coordinate pre-installation of new customers and manage and maintain established customer relationships.

This is a travel-intensive position, requiring more than 50% travel on average. When not traveling, you will participate in supporting customers via phone and/or email and track problems in help desk software. You will work closely other departments to achieve company goals.

  • Vending Industry knowledge desired
  • Experience supporting or working with customers directly
  • Technical proficient
  • Project management experience
  • Background in training or teaching
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Multi-task oriented
  • Ability to work alone
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
Requirements
  • Availability to travel 50-60% of the time; Flexibility in hours while traveling
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not necessary
  • 1-5 years experience in the Vending Industry
  • Ability to train and mentor junior staff
Compensation

$45,000-65,000, reporting to the Director, Customer Relations. All travel expenses are reimbursed by the company. Skilled personnel will also have the opportunity to advance within a Fortune 500 company.
