Item-level tracking is the foundation for category management, forecasting, pre-kitting—everything to make your operation run smarter and more profitably.
In the bad old days, vend operators could only track product by price category, such as how many $.50 items were sold at a given machine. With no data to confirm which product was selling at which locations, operators relied on the route driver to "merchandise" the machines. They were managing their businesses out of the warehouse, not the machine.
Today with VendMAX's item-level tracking, plano-grams, and DEX, operators can merchandise each machine like a C-Store:
- Correct product placed in each slot (including cold food)
- Vend count by spiral/column
- Price set for each selection
- DEX inventories the machine
- Slaving columns supported
